Terms and Conditions for Donations

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING A DONATION.



1. General

By making a donation to Selby Amateur Boxing Club (SABC), you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to both one-off donations and recurring monthly donations.


2. Donations

All donations made to SABC are voluntary and non-refundable. Donations will be used to support the operations and initiatives of the club, including but not limited to facility maintenance, equipment purchases, athlete development, and community outreach.


3. One-Off Donations

One-off donations are processed as a single transaction. Once a donation has been made, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Please ensure all information provided is accurate before completing your donation.


4. Monthly Donations (Direct Debit)

Monthly donations are set up as recurring payments via direct debit. By choosing a monthly donation, you agree that funds will be automatically deducted from your account on a recurring basis. You can cancel your direct debit at any time by contacting your bank directly. SABC is not responsible for managing or cancelling your direct debit.


5. Cancellation of Direct Debit

If you wish to cancel your monthly donation, you must do so through your bank. Cancellation of a direct debit may take up to 10 working days to process. Once your direct debit is cancelled, no further payments will be taken. Please note that payments already made prior to cancellation cannot be refunded.


6. Use of Donations

SABC commits to using all donations in a manner that supports the mission and activities of the club. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Maintaining and improving the club’s facilities.
  • Purchasing necessary equipment.
  • Covering travel and competition expenses for athletes.
  • Supporting training and development programs.

7. Data Protection

SABC is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information you provide while making a donation will be used solely for the purpose of processing your donation and keeping you informed about the club’s activities. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.


8. Changes to These Terms

SABC reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and it is your responsibility to review them regularly.
